We’re proud to announce that Holland Adhaus has won a 2025 Silver Telly Award for our post-production work on Hardball: Three Strikes, Not Out, a limited documentary series following MLB pitcher Tejay Antone’s emotional and physical comeback journey after his third major surgery.
Produced in partnership with Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Hardball offers a rare and intimate look at what it takes to push forward when everything is on the line. From operating rooms to living rooms, viewers follow Tejay as he works toward recovery, surrounded by his wife Kelsi, trusted surgeon Dr. Timothy Kremchek, and other key voices, including MLB writer C. Trent Rosecrans.

Below is the first episode of Hardball: Three Strikes, Not Out—the piece that earned Holland Adhaus the Silver Telly Award. This episode showcases the depth of storytelling and post-production craftsmanship that brought Tejay Antone’s journey to life.
Editing The Emotion
Hardball wasn’t just a documentary. It was a strategic storytelling effort designed to build a deeper emotional connection between Beacon Orthopaedics and the communities they serve. At Holland Adhaus, our job was to bring that story to life in a way that aligned with Beacon’s brand, mission, and marketing goals.
We handled every aspect of post-production: from editing the footage into a compelling narrative, to color correcting and enhancing visuals, to adding music, sound design, and motion graphics that amplified the emotional tone of each episode. Every choice we made was intentional, supporting not only the story of Tejay’s resilience but Beacon’s position as a trusted leader in sports medicine.
By sharing a real, vulnerable journey, Beacon is able to resonate with athletes and families in a more authentic way. This series helps reinforce their commitment to patient care and recovery, not just in the operating room but in every phase of an athlete’s life.
More to Come
Three episodes have been released so far, each offering a raw, inspiring look at Tejay Antone’s recovery. And his story is still unfolding. As new episodes are released, we’re proud to continue supporting Beacon’s mission—helping athletes and patients see what’s possible through powerful storytelling.
Big thanks to Beacon Orthopaedics for their trust and collaboration, and to the Telly Awards for recognizing the heart and hard work behind Hardball.
